It was a visit to the surroundings of the tiny village of Trancoso in Bahia, Brazil. Svenja was strolling around the cliffs and there it stood: an amazing Acacia mangium tree. Green, strong and powerful with the most interesting spiral shaped seeds she had ever seen in her life. Immediately it reminded Svenja of a visit to the Vatican in Rome 10 years ago where she was fascinated by the Bramante staircase. “The connection between my European origins and Brazil, between culture and nature was made.
