Svenja was traveling in Arizona, visiting Antelope Canyon. Arriving at the entrance, covered in red dust after getting there on the back of an open Land Rover, the canyon looked very pretty from the outside. It got absolutely breathtaking when she started to explore the inside of the canyon. Amazing colors, smooth shapes, shadows and special effects, a stunning revelation. Yes, this trip gave her the chance to see one of natures’ most outstanding wonders, meet interesting people, smell exotic fragrances of the desert… so, feeling once more how wonderful life is. Svenja kept the photos she took, notes she wrote, sand and little stones from the desert ground she found. All these are her little treasures she is thankful for having them in her life, because they mean something to her.
“I wanted to keep all this alive, in my mind and near to my heart”. That was how the idea to create this collection series was born.
